Richard Gilbert

Currently a Partner at strategy firm SocialSide, Richard has extensive experience in the design and delivery of policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement and communications strategies and activities for companies and development organisations in support of social impact goals and strategy.  He has strong experience across a range of social impact issue areas including economic inclusion, human rights and living wage.

Richard has co-authored over 20 agenda setting policy and research reports on responsible, sustainable business practice and partnerships with the Corporate Responsibility Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and Ashridge Hult Business School.  

Prior to focusing on the “social-side” of sustainable business, Richard held senior positions in leading communication firms Edelman, Weber Shandwick and Burson.
